With your generosity and support we adopted TWO horses: Murphy and Picasso, whom we love so much. Murphy has become pals with Ben, and Picasso has shown incredible improvement with his laminitis

Summer recovered from two medical procedures and is doing well at age 31! She continues to charm volunteers and visitors as she wanders freely around the farm

Our sweet Jack is currently responding to treatment at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center and we hope he'll be home in a few weeks to keep his pal Leo company

After a several-month shutdown we were so thrilled to welcome back visitors for tours in late spring! Panda was especially excited to lean his head over the fence to greet the children who marveled at his size

As per our mission of Caring for Horses Mind, Body & Soul, we had our horses blessed in October for the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals

In November we dedicated our new Medical Clinic & Education Center, where the horses can be treated in a clean, sanitized, heated/cooled area and where our farrier can work. There's also a large sliding plexiglass window and viewing area which we hope to utilize for educational programs in 2021. Special thanks to the F.O.R.E. Foundation and the Louis D. Srybnik Foundation whose generous grants helped fund this initiative.

We were able to hold a socially-distant BOO Walk as well as our popular Photos with Santa and the Horses. Santa sat up on the office porch and our visitors perched on a bench on the ground so everyone remained safe and healthy. It was so much fun seeing the kids AND the horses in their Halloween costumes!

We're always grateful for the continued good health of our horses and, especially this year, of our volunteers whose commitment, dedication and love throughout the months of quarantine kept our horses fed and cared for, made sure their stalls were mucked, their water was clean and hay was stacked and stored safely
